So many Shades of Blue

There’s so many shades of blue. Out here on this ocean of mine, there’s a blue so light It’s almost white. This blue tends to make my heart sing. There’s a slightly darker blue, who is sweet and playful, but with sad looking eyes. That’s the blue that reminds me how much I miss you. There’s an aqua green that seems quite agitated as it constantly smashes into the water around it; causing white bubbles of fury to explode in the air. It slowly flows out toward the horizon as it turns into the deepest and darkest blue of them all. She seems so mysterious like she’s done something horribly wrong, and yet, horribly right. This is the blue that thrills me and frightens me. “The great unknown!” The place were secrets stay secrets. The place were hearts are never broken and tears never fall. The place of Love.
